The French Dispatch, Wes Anderson’s new comedy-drama about a fictional newspaper, has been delayed for a second time, Deadline reports. The film will likely be released in 2021, a representative for Searchlight Pictures told Pitchfork. Watch the trailer for The French Dispatch below.
The French Dispatch stars Benicio del Toro, Bill Murray, Saoirse Ronan, Timothée Chalamet, Adrien Brody and Tilda Swinton, among others, as the moving parts of a Kansas newspaper’s foreign press office and its journalistic subjects. In April, the release was pushed back from July to October due to a pandemic delay.
Wes Anderson’s last film was “Isle of Dogs.” Read Pitchfork’s “How Wes Anderson Perfected the Melody Soundtrack.”
